The ACT ON CO2 calculator is provided by Direct Gov to help you find out what your carbon footprint is. The website also offers a personalised action plan with recommendations about how you can help tackle climate change.

Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust is a government-funded independent company set up to help businesses and public sector organisations cut carbon emissions and to exploit the potential of low carbon technologies. It provides information, advice and practical solutions, including funding, to help businesses save energy.

Defra

Defra (the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) provides the UK government lead on the protection and improvement of the environment. The Energy Saving Trust is a non-profit organisation, funded by government and the private sector, to provide information and advice to businesses, individuals and organisations on how to cut CO2 emissions by promoting the sustainable and efficient use of energy.

Environment Agency

The Environment Agency is the biggest organisation working to protect and improve the environment in England and Wales.
